Residential house Holečkova in Prague

Design study 2009

The proposal is influenced by the hight difference, that makes 25m in the lenght of the plot, and by the limitation of the building land. We placed five overground object to the site, which are supposed to be monochromatic blocks. These blocks complete the free space between existing buildings. Objects are descending the hillside, they have similar geometry except from a little difference in the proportion, the scale and the character. There are 35 flat units in the whole with flexible plans in upper objects. Pavements together with sheltered staircases are supposed to be linking objects that thread as a ferret in the whole garden.
